Having a consistent rational process and organizational language to use in addressing the concerns within a company gives it an advantage over competitors that lack that discipline and allows for a more focused use of scarce resources. The Problem Solving & Decision Making course creates a common process and language for implementation and use in the enterprise.
OBJECTIVES
- Detail a specific process for addressing problems, decisions and projects.
- Create a common language that may be used throughout the organizations for dealing with issues.
- Illustrate the use of these processes on real concerns participants identify for examples in the classroom.
- Teach participants a process that allows for them to correct the actual cause of problems and not continue to address the symptoms.
- Teach participants how to prioritize issues that need to be dealt with.
- Explore a rational methodology for choosing from among a group of alternatives in decision making.
- Explore a methodology that protects those decisions we have made by avoiding future problem.
