TEAM BUILDING

As more and more organizations see the benefits of teamwork and employee involvement the greater the need to help individuals to become a "member" of the team. We are not all born with interaction skills and team skills. This program is designed to introduce the team building process to those who have a need to function within teams and to give mature teams an opportunity to examine their effectiveness.

OBJECTIVES
  • Define the concept of teamwork and how it is applied.
  • Identify characteristics of an effective team.
  • Identify the roles and responsibilities of individuals on a team.
  • Identify the steps in effective action planning designed to enhance the effectiveness of the team.
  • Identify ways in which teams can assure process and guidelines are followed.
  • Identify barriers to team development.
  • Practice behaviors, which promote teamwork.
  • Practice team audit procedures.
