All managers, supervisors, advisors and other positions with influence and authority in organizations must know how to train others. This program will develop and enhance the necessary skills to train effectively.
OBJECTIVES
- Learn how to design and develop training packages.
- Explore current adult learning concepts.
- Practice the delivery of relevant training content.
- Learn how to involve participants in the learning process.
- Learn how to evaluate the training that has been conducted.
- Learn how to handle specialized and difficult situations.
APPROPRIATE FOR: All employees with the opportunity to train others.
RECOMMENDED GROUP SIZE: 8-12
DURATION: Two (2) days
METHODS
- Lecturettes, peer feedback, instructor feedback, case studies and role-plays will be used to facilitate learning.
- Longer programs will utilize videotaped feedback to give participants insight into their strengths and developmental needs.
RESULTS
- Participants will be able to conduct basic training programs where they already have content knowledge.
