Work Team Skills is designed to assist employees in understanding the basics of employee involvement from its inception to current day practice. The course will examine why companies choose to utilize this management approach and how they go about implementing employee involvement in their own organizations.
OBJECTIVES
- Understand why companies choose to incorporate work team skills in their organizations.
- Examine what factors impact the success of participative systems.
- Understand the impact work team skills has on managerial values.
- Understand how work team skills can impact quality and productivity.
- Exposure to a comprehensive and integrated change process.
- Examine results from successful work team skills efforts.
- Examine their concerns and questions about work team skills and discuss these with others in the program.

DURATION: Eight (8) hours
METHODS
- Lecturettes, small group discussions, and case studies will be used to communicate the content of this program.
- Visuals will include the use of flip charts, hand out materials, and overhead transparencies.
